Alex W. Byers is President, Chief Executive Officer and founder of MSI Healthcare, Inc, a regional healthcare management and development corporation specializing in turnaround, operations, billing/accounts receivables and consulting services for health care delivery systems, physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers and other healthcare organizations. Mr. Byers is a 1976 graduate of the West Virginia Wesleyan College (BS) and a 1981 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health in Medical and Hospital Administration (M.P.H.). Over the past 25 years, his professional career has been divided between hospital operations and administration and practice management. Mr. Byers has served in various senior executive level positions within Pittsburgh-based hospitals and health systems including the Forbes Health System, McKeesport Hospital, Westmoreland Hospital and Health System and South Hills Health System. Further, he has been employed by and/or associated with numerous physician practices and healthcare organizations providing turnaround and development services and advice. Mr. Byers has had extensive experience and success in restructuring and reengineering physician practices and professional corporations in numerous specialties to improve practice dynamics and profitability.

Ricardo A. Salas is a Director of MSI Healthcare, Inc. and has been affiliated with the Company since 2002. He is an executive leader with extensive experience in business strategy, management and entrepreneurship in healthcare and technology among other industries. Mr. Salas has served in various senior executive capacities and as a director for Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc., a pioneer in the discovery and commercialization of amorphous metallic glasses; iLIANT Corporation, a provider of practice management, information technology and revenue cycle management services to the healthcare industry; and Pediatric Health Alliance, LLC, a management services company supporting one of the nation’s largest pediatric physician groups. He is a founder of Medical Manager Corporation which provided the most widely utilized software system for physician practices at the time of its initial public offering in 1997 and later merged with WebMD in 2000. Mr. Salas served as a director and investor to many private companies during the past 20 years. His experience includes founding and financing start-ups, managing international operations, establishing joint ventures and licensing relationships, and negotiating and completing mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Salas graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Economics in 1986.
